Biographies of Lawyers:
DAVID McCLAIN: Lawyer-Partner; admitted to the Association of Lawyers of California (1972); Faculty of Hastings Right, the University of California (J.D., 1972), member of the Thurston Society (between first 5%); University of California of Los Angeles (B.A., 1969).
My first work when leaving the right school was for the Foundation of Legal Attendance Claypit of San Francisco, where we provided legal services to them to people without the resources to pay them. Then, with two friendly, I mainly abrí to an office in the district “Mission” of San Francisco, rendering services to Latin clients.
In 1981, they asked to me that it helps with a case of asbestos in Long Beach, and I moved to Los Angeles to represent some harmed workers of shipyard. Nevertheless, the area of San Francisco was strange too much and I returned to be united to the practice of Steven Kazan. I have taken some cases of asbestos and in 1989 I obtained the highest verdict until that date for a single plaintiff in a case of asbestos in California. In 1996, I was president of the Association of Lawyers of Tree-lined avenue-Against Coast, and have been member of the Council of Governors from 1987. Also I am member of the Association of Lawyers of America, the Group of Asbestos Litigants, the National Union of Lawyers, the Lawyers of California for Criminal Justice, the Lawyers of the Cunsumidor of California, the Associations of Lawyers of California and the County of Tree-lined avenue.
Aside from these professional obligations, I am president of the Association of Parents of Family of the Bently School in Oakland, and am trainer for Small Liga of Baseball of Oakland, Liga de Youthful Fútbol of Rockridge, and basketball for Local Japanese Liga. Also I am traveller, mountain climber and I am become fond of to walk in raft in the rivers.
