Biographies of Lawyers:
GORDON GREENWOOD: Lawyer-Partner; member of the Association of Lawyers of California; Faculty of Right of the University of George Washington (J.D., 1988); University of Morehouse (B.A., 1985).
My areas of exercise in the Company/signature are litigations on the asbestos, the illegal practices of doctors and case of accidents in constructions.
I was united to the Company/signature in April of 1998, after working during seven years for the Office of the Defending Public of San Francisco. Initially they assigned, me to the Unit of Judgments by Misdemeanors, where I handled a high volume of cases of relatively devoid offenses of gravity. Then, I was promoted to the Unit of Judgments by Crimes Majors, where it represented destitute defendant in cases of greater severity and complexity, including cases that involved murder positions, sexual assault, and homicide to carry without premeditation. I worked in this unit during approximately two years, and soon I changed to the Youthful Division, where I was in favor of two years, before returning to the Unit of Judgments by Crimes Majors. During the seven years that I worked for the Office of Defending Public, I personally took in opinion by jury more than seventy cases.
During last the five years, I have been Professor Adjunto for the Clinic of Criminal Practice in the University of Right of Hastings.
Outside the work, I am involved in many activities of the conmunidad. I am president of the Manager of the beneficial Company of Local Development “West Bay” that owns and operates a center of conferences for the conmunidad in the District of Fillmore de San Francisco. Also I am collector of bottoms for the Bottom of Universidad/UNCF.
My greater passion, nevertheless, is the work that performance with youth. During last the six years, I have been Director of the Department of the Youth of the Third Church Baptist of San Francisco. In this capacity, I have developed programs to help the youth (mainly of the destritos of Bay View/Hunter's Point and Fillmore to have a sense more hard of its spiritual purpose, better academic profits and one more a deeper understanding of its cultural identity. I have provided many hours of personal advice, legal representation and direction so that they obtain different social services. To direct to the generation of morning leaders is a task that is, of seeming, of most important and funny.
I have been member of the Manager of the Educational Services of San Francisco, a beneficial agency that provides services of academic support to the young people of the districts of Bay View/Hunter's Point and Fillmore in San Francisco, and am affiliate to the Association of Lawyers of California, the Association of Lawyers of Tree-lined avenue-Against Coast; the Association of Lawyers of the County of Tree-lined avenue, the Association of Lawyers Charles Houston, and the Lawyers of the Consumer of California.
